{"id":4016,"date":"2011-12-20T14:51:41","date_gmt":"2011-12-20T14:51:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kibo.energy\/?p=4016"},"modified":"2014-06-11T15:04:05","modified_gmt":"2014-06-11T15:04:05","slug":"kibo-mining-plc-update-itetemia-luhala","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kibo.energy\/index.php\/kibo-mining-plc-update-itetemia-luhala\/","title":{"rendered":"Kibo Mining plc &#8211; Update Itetemia &#038; Luhala"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Kibo Mining plc (&#8220;Kibo&#8221; or the &#8220;Company&#8221;) (AIM, KIBO: JSE, KBO) the mineral exploration and development company focused on gold and nickel projects in Tanzania,  announces  that  it has decided  to  withdraw  from  the  Option  and  Royalty  Agreement  between  Tanzanian  Royalty Exploration  Corporation  Limited  (\u201cTREC\u201d)  and  Kibo\u2019s  wholly  owned  subsidiary,  Sloane Developments  Limited,  dated  25  January  2007(the  \u201cAgreement\u201d). <!--more-->The  Company  will  not exercise its option to acquire  TREC\u2019s interests  in the  Itetemia and Luhala projects  both of which are located in the Lake Victoria Goldfields of northern Tanzania.<\/p>\n<p>The  Directors believe that the projects do not hold sufficient economic value  and attempted to renegotiate  the  terms  and  conditions  of  the  Agreement  with  TREC  but  this  has  not  been possible.
