Significant Anomaly Identified at Morogoro South Project<\/strong>

Kibo\u00a0 Mining\u00a0 plc\u00a0 (\u201cKibo\u201d\u00a0 or\u00a0 the\u00a0 \u201cCompany\u201d)\u00a0 (AIM:\u00a0 KIBO,\u00a0 AltX:\u00a0 KBO)\u00a0 the\u00a0 multi commodity\u00a0 exploration\u00a0 and\u00a0 development\u00a0 company\u00a0 focused\u00a0 on\u00a0 Tanzania,\u00a0 is\u00a0 pleased\u00a0 to provide\u00a0 an\u00a0 exploration\u00a0 update.\u00a0\u00a0 The\u00a0 Company\u00a0 has\u00a0 received\u00a0 results\u00a0 from\u00a0 its\u00a0 infill\u00a0 soil\u00a0 and stream sediment sampling at the Morogoro North and Morogoro South projects in central and south eastern Tanzania.<\/p>\n

Morogoro South<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Numerous gold anomalies have been defined by the soil sampling programme located above and adjacent to the Ruvu Nappe structure<\/li>\n
  • These\u00a0 anomalies\u00a0 are\u00a0 significant\u00a0 gold\u00a0 bearing\u00a0 targets\u00a0 that\u00a0 will\u00a0 be\u00a0 trench\u00a0 sampled\u00a0 in early 2013 and drill tested later in the year<\/li>\n
  • One of these anomalies extends over\u00a0 0.3km2, returned gold values up to 0.41g\/t and remains open to the South (Block A)<\/li>\n
  • A significant barite anomaly was also discovered during the soil sampling programme<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Morogoro North<\/strong><\/p>\n

    • In fill gold-in-\u00a0 stream sediment sampling results from PLs 6717\/2010 and 6598\/2010 at Morogoro North show low values.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Louis Coetzee\u00a0 CEO of Kibo commented:<\/p>\n

      \u201cThese encouraging results have confirmed our belief that the Morogoro licences have the potential to contain a significant gold deposit. The Morogoro South licence covers a 15km section\u00a0 of\u00a0 the\u00a0 Ruvu\u00a0 Nappe\u00a0 structure\u00a0 that\u00a0 has\u00a0 been\u00a0 demonstrated\u00a0 by\u00a0 this\u00a0 soil\u00a0 sampling programme to be an important control on the gold mineralisation. With numerous targets generated we look forward to reporting the results of an extensive trenching programme\u00a0 and our planned maiden drill programme in 2013.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

      While infill stream sediment sample gold results over PLs 6717\/2010 and 6598\/2010 are low, these\u00a0 areas\u00a0 represent\u00a0 just\u00a0 a\u00a0 small\u00a0 part\u00a0 of\u00a0 the\u00a0 Morogoro\u00a0 North\u00a0 project\u00a0 and\u00a0 the\u00a0 company\u2019s sampling\u00a0 teams\u00a0 have\u00a0 already\u00a0 commenced\u00a0 sampling\u00a0 licences\u00a0 further\u00a0 north\u00a0 closer\u00a0 to\u00a0 the Handeni gold district where significant exploration success has been achieved in recent years. Kibo is\u00a0 optimistic\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 that with its on-going systematic field exploration programmes over the remainder\u00a0 of\u00a0 the\u00a0 Morogoro\u00a0 North\u00a0 project,\u00a0 more\u00a0 significant\u00a0 exploration\u00a0 results\u00a0 should\u00a0 be forthcoming.<\/p>\n
