Kibo\u00a0 Mining\u00a0 plc\u00a0 (“Kibo”\u00a0 or\u00a0 the\u00a0 “Company”)\u00a0 (AIM:\u00a0 KIBO;\u00a0 AltX:\u00a0 KBO),\u00a0 the\u00a0 mineral exploration and development company focused on gold, nickel, coal and uranium projects in Tanzania, is pleased to announce that it has issued2 356 548 new ordinary shares of Eur0.015 (\u201cOrdinary\u00a0 Shares\u201d)\u00a0 at\u00a0 5p\u00a0 per\u00a0 share\u00a0 (the\u00a0 \u201cPlacing\u00a0 Shares\u201d)\u00a0 for\u00a0 cash,\u00a0 to\u00a0 settle\u00a0 all\u00a0 currently outstanding creditors. With the issue of these shares the board is pleased to announce that the Company has no outstanding debt or creditors.Application will be made for the Placing Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM and the JSE AltX markets. Trading in the Placing Shares is expected to commence on AIM and the JSE on or\u00a0 around\u00a0 the\u00a0 7\u00a0 October\u00a0 2013\u00a0 (“Admission”).\u00a0 On\u00a0 Admission,\u00a0 the\u00a0 Company\u00a0 will\u00a0 have 141,116,691 Ordinary Shares in issue.<\/p>\n

Louis\u00a0 Coetzee,\u00a0 CEO\u00a0 of\u00a0 the\u00a0 Company,\u00a0 commented:<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u00a0 are\u00a0 very\u00a0 pleased\u00a0 to\u00a0 announce\u00a0 that Kibo is now completely debt and creditor free and that all our resources can be focused on the aggressive and diligent development of the various\u00a0 projects in Kibo, most notably the Rukwa Coal\u00a0 to\u00a0 Power\u00a0 Project\u00a0 and\u00a0 the\u00a0 Imweru\u00a0 and\u00a0 Lubando\u00a0 gold\u00a0 projects\u00a0 recently\u00a0 reported\u00a0 on\u00a0 in earlier announcements.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
